Holiday In the Park

We kicked off our holiday season at Six Flags- Holiday in the Park. We had a great time! It was actually cold and felt like winter!! We went with Uncle David and Uncle Mikey. Dylan rode his first big roller coaster that is not in the kiddie area and LOVED IT!!! (not the one shown here that one has the kids and Uncle David) The highlight of the night for the kids was the snow hill that we sled down! It was the only real long wait we had- but well worth it to see the joy on the kids faces! It was a great way to jump start our Christmas season!

New Addition!!!

Dolly came to live with us the day after Thanksgiving. She is a Yorkie Poo-- she is wee!!! She is developing her own little personality- and is so fun to watch!! She loves the kids-- and well I think you can tell by the last picture that Eric is quite taken with her as well!!

Thanksgiving 2007

Thanksgiving this year was a treat. Mom/Grandmom was with us. We attempted to get pictures of the kids with her-- it was not as bad as it could have been in our make shift studio! Mom got to be with us for about 2 weeks. She flew out after meeting her 7th great grand child-- Case!! YEAH!!! We enjoyed her cooking and her PIES!!! Here are a few of the pictures we attempted--

An update without pictures (you will thank me!)

So- Dylan made a memory this weekend. He is VERY interested in going potty. He has been for awhile- but mainly the fluid kind of interested. He is picky about which pull-up he will wear, and must -put it on himself. However, things changed Friday evening. We talk to him all the time about going in the potty-- not in our pull-up. We also talk about how the bathroom is a place we don't go with a lot of people. It is ok to go with mommy or daddy now, but he doesn't come in with us. We are not perfect on this- but working on it. On Friday evening, Dylan came downstairs- buck naked-- and I mean everything hanging out!! haha He told me he had gone poo poo. He told me the same thing the night before-- but he had pooted. So I said ok-- he said no come see. So off I go upstairs-- not expecting what I was about to see. He was so proud of himself--to quote him...

" I not go poo poo in my pull-up!!! I not go poo poo in my pull-up!! Nobody see me!!"

Well he was right-- he backed himself in the corner between his bunk bed and his dresser-- backed up to the wall and yes... pooped on the floor!!!! Again- let me tell you how proud of himself he was. Needless to say-- I was not proud----we had a quick reminder of where we go to the potty-- I do not think we will have this happen again-- at least he better hope not!!

I got it all cleaned up-- he had dressed himself-- he does it all these days except his shoes. I leave- he is watching Diego and playing. Evidently he decides he doesn't need his pull-up on. He takes off his pants and pull-up, puts on one of the 2 pair of big boy undies we have- puts back on his pants-- and pees all over himself and the floor.

It was a night for sure! I believe he will be potty trained by Christmas. It would be sooner if I was home with him everyday. Still= by Christmas--for my sanity!!!

Hannah Montana Concert

Kadyn and I got to do something awesome.. We got to go see Hannah Montana/ Miley Cyrus in concert on November 14th. It was amazing!!! We went with some friends and as you can see from the first picture--- the girls were running to get there- and there was still 2 1/2 hours until the show!! They got to see the outside of her bus and get pictures taken by a lifesize picture of Hannah.

Kadyn kept looking up at the picture of Miley on the side of the bus and saying-- it's her-- it's really her!

Here we are anxiously waiting!
The Jonas Brothers started the concert-- they were good- but the best was.....HANNAH MONTANA!!!!!

Trying so hard to stay awake-- I am loving it-- but it is past my bedtime!! Wait-- it's Girls Night Out!!! I am up again!

I LOVED IT!!!
