Professional Pictures!!

The kids and I went today to have professional pictures made. It has been over a year and a half since we have had pictures made together! I knew it would be a challenge with an active 2 year old and it did prove to be one. Our photographer was excellent and managed to get some great shots! Yes- I have lots of copies! I also have a CD with all 74 shots- the good, the bad, and the ugly!!!

The only things Dylan got excited about were the bear above and the motorcycle!

oops this one got on here twice-- Kadyn was an angel- she sat so patiently and waited for Dylan to decide he wanted to be in pictures!

Dylan just ran and jumped in with Kadyn here--it turned out quite cute!

So- we tried to get mommy in there too--Well Dylan was done with the beach- he had already pulled out EVERY beach blanket they had---- This one was cute- but I did not buy this one- but is on the CD.

This one was too cute-- I did not buy a package of it- but do have this to share on the CD. He loved this bear!

VBS 2007-- GameDay Central

We just finished a full week of VBS. I did something different this year and helped out in the Preschool recreation. What an adventure getting 3 year olds to do an organized game! It was alot of fun and both of my kids had a great time.

This is the preschool worship leader. Ages 3- finished Kindergarten saw her every day for worship. Hard for me to believe that next summer, I will have one in the preschool worship and one in the grade school worship!

Here is Kadyn- fully involved and not knowing she was being watched!

Kadyn with a few friends in her VBS class right before worship started.

Worship again.

Dylan's "Rookie" card. His teacher made each one of them a card-- what a great idea!! His teacher also took lots of pictures throughout the week and gave them to the parents.

Dylan's class got "Dressed up" one day and went to big church.

Dylan's class headed to play- not knowing he was being watched by his mama!

Dylan and his friends planting flowers.

Dylan playing with blocks.

Sleepover Fun!

Kadyn had a friend sleepover. They had so much fun! They made their own pizza- and it actually was very good. Then they ate at "Joe's Restaurant." This is a special place located in our playroom. They giggled and giggled at Sally- who took their order! You know Sally looked ALOT like GrannyLou. The playroom then transformed into their own hotel room! It was a fun time.

Fun with Jonathan and Elizabeth

Can you hear the squeals of pure delight? What fun the 3 older ones had in the pool! Water was splashed on everyone and no one was mad about it! Elizabeth loved hanging out and watching them all- I am sure she can't wait to get in there and join them! I am so glad they have this time to grow up together!

Six Flags with GrannyLou

Granny Lou got a season pass to 6 flags!!! We went for a few hours to play with her. The joy of having the passes is that we don't have to stay all day long- suffering in the heat! Here are a few pictures of our fun time!

Ballet Recital 2007

Kadyn's 2nd ballet recital was at the end of May. This year, her class was bluebirds. Here are the professional pictures that were taken a few days before. We were not allowed to take pictures during the recital. There was a photographer there taking pictures. As soon as I have the link to those pictures I will get that out! Isn't she precious!!!

I'm a serious ballerina!

In the air like a bluebird

Close up- I know I am bias- but isn't she gorgeous?

6 Flags

Today we went to 6 Flags with several other families. This was Dylan's first time. I already knew Kadyn was a dare devil. Dylan proved to be just the same. Since he is now over 3 ft., he can ride more than just what is in the kiddie area. While this is exciting- it was a shock to this mama's heart!! I mean he is only 2! However he loved every bit of it and was upset when he couldn't ride something.
This picture is the first ride of the day- the tea cups in the kid area. Kadyn and her friend Adyson rode with him and were so good since none of us knew how he would react. He came off laughing saying go again!!

This is the roller coaster in the kid area. Kadyn and Adyson rode in front of Dylan and I. It was hard to get a good picture of him since he was sitting right beside me. He laughed again! He of course asked to go again and again!

Here we are on the Superman ride in the kid area. I did have to ride this one with him-not because he needed me- but you had to 42" to ride alone. Again- total joy! Kadyn loved it as well as you can tell by her raised hands!

Swinging

Flying

Kadyn went on Splash Mountain. Dylan could have also gone, but I did not even think about bringing him a swim diaper. I did not want to mess with a FULL diaper as he got off- so we watched. The first picture is of their boat going up. You can't see Kadyn but she is in the front seat.

As they got off, the girls decided to stand on the bridge. Kadyn is standing just to the left of the blue triangle.

Kadyn and Adyson right after Splash Mountain Ride ride and the bridge! They were so animated about how wet they got!

Kadyn loving on Pepe Le Pieu (sp?)

Pepe and Porky Pig had a great time playing with all of the kids in our group while the adults took turns going to the restroom. They literally stood there and played with them for about 5 minutes. The kids had a great time as Pepe kept "taking" a sippy cup and acting as if he was going to leave. It ended with a "chase" and our kids capturing the cup back.

Here are Dylan and Andrew as we began to ride the "Big" teacups.

Dylan rode the boat as he called it. The ship that rocks back and forth taking your stomach each time. We rode right in the center and he squealed with delight. Kadyn sat a few rows behind us with another mom in our group. She too loves this ride.

Dylan and Kadyn rode this Mexican Sombrero. It was too much twisting and turning for me. Kadyn rode with Adyson and Dylan rode with my good friend Angie. You can see all of them in this picture. Again- all smiles and laughter from all!

Here are my 2 daredevils as we prepared to leave. Both worn out but wanting more. We did ride alot more than I have pictures of. Kadyn rode several large rollercoasters including one that does two full complete upside down turns. However, it is hard to get pictures of everything when you are riding! We will spend a good amount of time at 6 Flags this summer-thank goodness for passes!
