Halloween 2007

Here is Gabriella from High School Musical and Diego. We had a great time! My mom and dad came by before we left.... the kids enjoyed seeing them. Eric's mom went with us. I realized in going through the pics that she and I were both snapping pictures- so I do not have any of her!

We went to Festival31 at the church we have been attending. It was amazing! There were so many bounce houses, games, food, etc..... we could have stayed all night! Afterwards, we went to Kadyn's teacher's house. She told us we could come by and trick or treat there. So, that was our one house to do the traditional Halloween thing. Dylan loved his "wescue" pack as he calls it. You can't see his shoes- but they Diego as well. Not planned as a part of the costume, but he needed new shoes and that is what he picked out. Kadyn wanted her hair straightened because that is what Gabriella has. So I straightened her hair and she was so proud!! Can I just say that I think she looked so beautiful!! Fun was had by all and even Eric got in on the fun... he got his turkey leg!!!

You gotta love this one.. my favorite!

Pumpkin Carving 2007

This past weekend, we set out to carve a pumpkin. We have one round eye and one triangle-- a request of our children- one wanted round and one wanted triangles. Eric quickly decided not to ask them for their opinion on the nose! haha
Kadyn loved getting her hands down in pumpkin and Dylan, well he wanted nothing to do with it. He was content to watch!! You can see the disgust on his face in a few of the pics. Next year we will let them paing their own pumpkin I think! We had fun and our pumpkin sat proudly on our front porch!

I know I know.... so much time has passed!

So, I got the message from many of you who have asked...where are the updated pictures? What is going on with you all? Where have you been????

So life has been a bit busy since school started back. No excuse I know, but I have chosen to sleep at night over posting on the blog! Both kids were home with strep today, so I had the chance to download loads of pictures and then update a bit on here. There are several posts with lots of pictures, so make sure to keep looking!

So where are we......
School is going well. Kadyn is in 1st grade. She is reading at a beginning 2nd grade level. She LOVES school and hated not going today! She is still in ballet and is into anything Hannah Montana and High School Musical. She is beyond excited because she and I are going to see Hannah Montana in concert next month!

Dylan is growing so fast! He is hilarious! If you see me in person, ask me about his pant changing episode the other night. Out of respect for Eric, I will not post the picture of Dylan on here- but oh man do we have a picture to hang over his head when he gets older!!! He is all boy- into everything but keeps us laughing.

Me-- I am doing well. School is going well and I love 3rd grade. I am turning 34 tomorrow-- where has the time gone??? God is working miracles... Eric has accepted Christ and we both have made some major changes. God is working on us and restoring our marriage. I never could have dreamed it... but it is true!!! Through the past 6 months, our family has been tested in different ways--and are still in the midst of some trials right now... but we stay focused on the fact that God is ahead of us.. never let's us go... and even carries us at times. At the end.. He is glorified for the miracles.... for bringing us through the fire.

I would love to hear from many of you.....so email!!! We love you all and I promise to be better about updating the blog!!

Pumpkin Patch 2007

Saturday, GrannyLou, Kaci, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Kristi, Eric, Kadyn and Dylan went to the Pumpkin Patch. Clay and Pop could not be with us- and they were missed! The pumpkin patch was wonderful! It is free first of all. There are mazes of hay, TONS of photo ops with characters and fall props, hay rides, bounce houses, pumpkins galore to run through and did I mention photo ops? We had a blast!! This same place does a Christmas Tree farm. We are planning to go back when Clay and Pop can go with us. There are lots of pictures to look at....and 3 times as many that aren't on here! What fun!! Wish you all could have been with us!
