Professional Dance Pictures

Here is the collage I ordered of the professional pics from the competition. A cool thing... they accidentally printed the wrong size collage..so they are going to use her collage as an example that hangs on their display at all of the competitions! I took a picture of each picture that is on the collage so you hopefully can see....

Dance Competition 2009

Kadyn took part in Regional and National Dance Competition this week. She did fabulous! They competed with 2 of the dances they did in their Recital. Pictures are not allowed during the competition. Here are a few pictures from before and after. I ordered a collage of some of the pictures the professionals took during the competition.

Kadyn's 2nd Grade Awards

I was looking back at posts and realized I did not post on Kadyn's awesome accomplishments in 2nd grade! We are SO proud of her. She is highly considering changing schools next year. She has been going to school with me.. mainly for convenience for me. She has been asking to go to our home school... literally 4 doors down from our house. If so, this will be her last time as a Sherrod Shark!

She was a Shark Pin winner... she showed outstanding qualities not only in academics, but in her citizenship as well. Only 6 kids per class are chosen each year.. one for each 6 weeks.

Dylan saw a picture of his best buddy with Spiderman... so we had to go to the store where Spiderman hangs out.

Water Park

Last week the kids and I went to a local water park. We had a great time and it was a wonderful way to beat the heat!

The water on this slide was coming down so hard that Dylan had to pull his swim trunks up every time.. something he thought was SO funny!









We will be hitting up the local water parks quite a bit this summer I believe! They are inexpensive and lots of fun!

Kadyn's Swim.. the end of an era...

Kadyn finshed her swim lessons. She has "graduated" from Swim With Success. She started out in the Dolphin class this year, but after one lesson was moved up to the Sharks... the top group.


One of the things I love about this program is they teach you survival skills. Here she is doing the dead man float.. followed by treading water.... They also had to jump in fully clothed ( bathing suits underneath) and tread water for a minute... then take off their shoes, jeans and t-shirts while in the water. Kadyn did this with flying colors!!

Dylan's Bday Party

Today we had Dylan's birthday party with his friends. I believe everyone had a great time swimming and bouncing in the power ranger bounce house. Dylan even got a call from Uncle David during the party!

Dylan's 4th Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BUDDY!!!
Today is Dylan's 4th birthday. I can't believe that much time has gone by. Dylan has such a tender heart..... you always know how he is feeling. I pray he never loses his gentle heart. He is at a stage right now where he is not afraid to shout how much he loves me. It melts my heart to hear him say... "Mommy, I just love you so much!"
He is full of life, curious and full of wonder! He loves his school, loves his friends and loves junk food like his mama!
I am so glad God blessed me with the precious gift of Dylan.
I cannot wait to see what God has in story for him!!
I love you!

Here are some pictures from our family birthday dinner at Chuck E. Cheese tonight. We had a good time. just the four of us... he has a big birthday party on Saturday with a bounce house and his friends.... I will be sure to post pictures!
